Voting

As Israel likes to copy America...we too had elections although only municpal...but don't worry we will have elections for Prime Minister soon.

My new flat mate who is pretty cool, noted the other day...Gila I didn't realise you were so Anti-America...she's from Houston, Texas and she has cowboy boots.

I personally hate the word 'anti' (can you be anti anti?), as I think it connotates all sorts of negative thoughts...and is a left wing slogan...I can't remember the last time anybody left has been 'pro' anything...not that I am a hard core person...you know I try to be peaceful...but my only criticism of lefties I guess is that negative rhetoric can't put you in a positive frame of mind.

That waffle aside getting back to American pancakes...(I have been blessed with some true maple syrup and I am trying to come up with a good occasion to use it)...I am trying to decide what to do as a major in my masters...even though we have already started the semester and pedhaps I should ahve thought about this already. Nevermind. My point is that nothing has changed since last year in the sense that across the board teachers till use America as some sort of Gold standard. It bothers me....a lot. It's like some chip on everyone's shoulder here...or some guiding light...always looking on the other persons plate towards the green grass...That is something as a Public Health student that I don't think is healthy.
